Yesterday we had overnight prayer meeting and the presence of God was awesome. And today a few of us decide to go JB to chill. It was fantastic.

Went to this small shop, if i can remember clearly, its call "sing kee" for JB local food. Pst was so excited when he talk to Vivien about it in his car. Oh, something to add on is that Pst Ken was a great driver. Fast, swift and accurate. He drove super near to alot of vehicles and his judgement of car was awesome... he can sms with is blackberry somemore while he is driving! Kekeke.....

So the 5 of us (Pst Ken, vien, ping, ling and me) went for authentic thai massage at city square. The ladies shared a room while me and pst shared another. This thai massage was really AUTHENTIC! It it was quite cheap as well compared to singapore. Their masseuse are all thais and their skills was superb. Pst mention he has been here for a few times and their standard of service is always maintained at a high level. Pst feel asleep during the massage while i was kinda not use to it so was quite awake.

Pst had to leave to teach bible study back in SG... so gotta leave right after. The rest of us went for dinner at this restoran under the tree... haha... to eat their "cizar"... nice nice. =)

Ipoh Missions

Wednesday, September 16, 2009

This is really a great experience for me. The team have been great and together we forged great friendship with one another. Pastor Lian, his family and workers have been most awesome. Greatly touched by their hospitality and openness.

I can see so much potential of what God wants to do when there is such simple faith in them. When one man takes a step of faith, God can work miracle for him. Also, i am impressed by their praise and worship team all over... how did they managed to do that when they started about only half a year ago?! If not for God's wisdom and anointing, how is that made possible?!

It brings me to remembrance of Old Hollywood Days where the people are so open and willing... Everyone plays a part in building the house of God... When everyone builds up, the kingdom advances. Willingness is the key to Greatness just like wad Jesus mentioned, those who are humble will be exalted.

I believe God is gonna blessed them mighty...

Long Vacation

Monday, May 18, 2009

Just came back from a great vacation. It was really a good 3 weeks long break! Went to Australia and managed to conquered 4 main cities, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. It was a road trip and Seth and I drove a total of more 3000 km. Of course we got the GPS navigation system, after the STRONG recommendation of Soooophiiiieee Wong Sum Yhee!!! Thanks sophie!!! =), if not we really will get lost. Especially when we need to search a street in a big city.. its almost impossible without it.

Both of us caught some major events like ANZAC day, Darling Harbour's 21st Birthday Celebration. Also, its such a awesome weather in australia especially during my last week stay at melbourne. Its autumn now, so the weather is neither freezing cold or scorching hot.

Okie... enough of the talking, rest up... pictures!!! I'll try to post more pictures if i got time...

ANZAC day parade at Brisbane City

ANZAC day "Live" Telecast for National TV

Horses for ANZAC parade

Military March on the street during the parade

Brisbane South bank, people enjoying the tanning in the city

Brisbane Art Gallery

One of the theme in the art gallery "The China Project"

One of the contemporary art piece

Things i dun understand = "Art" (Dun ask me why i take this photo)

I like this piece of drawing... the cheeky smile.

HATE Ugly Singapore Drivers!

Friday, March 20, 2009

One day when i could not take it any longer, i will really step out of my vehicle to give a punch right at the face of any driver who tried to piss me off! I am really trying to be as "Christian" as i could when come to driving... but seriously, why are there so many drivers in Singapore that are so arrogant as if the whole road belongs to them?! It's a SHAME to them! I remembered when i was young, when we have this "courtesy" campaign in singapore.. its so cool! But what happen to that cute lion figurine with a big wide smile?!

Below are some of the nasty experiences after my one year on the road almost everyday!

1) Alot of drivers never signal their intention now and just switch lanes! This got worse especially after the first ever Singapore Grand Prix event that was held. Now everyone thinks they are Lewis Hamilton?! I think they are Hamsters more then hamilton! Give me a break! You guys are just driving some kuku road cars! You are just a darn road hazard when u don't signal!

2) There was this young punk who want to enter into the main road and he drove way past the "give way" line and i was in the right of way. So to prevent an accident, i kindly flashed my lights twice to warn him to stop. He did stop and give way after one-third of his vehicle was already beyond the line ..... but to my unexpected HORROR, he sped up after me and followed behind me to flashed his lights FIVE times to irritate me!

3) It was red light where i stop beside this hyundai "TRAJET" that was on my right where both our vehicles are the first row of cars. When the lights turned green, i step on my accelerator and suddenly this hyundai sped up and one third of his vehicle was beside me when he wanted to cut into my lane! He really think that his vehicle is a JET?! I HORNED at him and slow down my vehicle immediately and i almost got into an accident! But that's not it!!! Guess what?! I sped up and find out who this irresponsible driver was... and guess wad? His wife who was beside him in her 40s... saw me angry and she still made irritating and funny faces to piss me off! She think that she is still a 18 year old cute beauty where i would laugh at her lameness?! To tell u the truth... i would rather look at a piece of S with a HIT then looking at her sagging chin face! Feel like giving her one tight slap!

4) Alot of drivers nowadays like to "ZHENG" their cars... i am fine with that... but please.... dun make your headlamps like the streetlights for the F1 racing using 3000 lux compared to the 100 lux for streetlights! It is just too blinding for the other drivers! Are the traffic police doing anything to them to enhance safety on the roads? Just like my good friend Jiaheng said... i should install RALLY CARS LAMP with 6 SPOTLIGHTS to make them know what's the GLORY OF GOD!

5) Taxi DriverS! Another source of bitterness... i met all this incidents with cab drivers.... stop right before an expressway entrance to pick up passengers, stop right after an expressway exit to alight passengers, stop unexpected... Worst case incident: I met this taxi driver at my carpark (having alot of upgrading works where the vehicles parked one lane so vehicles can only travel another lane). So he stopped his car to alight his passenger blocking up the way where i came in opposite direction. So, i waited patiently for him to alight his passenger so that he will reverse his car to let me pass thru... GUESS WAD?!  After i waited patiently without horning, he looked at me and just using his sign language to tell me to reverse for his vehicle to pass through! HE WASTED MY DaRN TIME and STILL have the CHeEkS to tell me TO REveRSe!? If not for the holy spirit inside of me to cool me down and reverse for him... i will just land my fist at his face or just wait there wasting his time for him to reverse giving him an irritating look since i am not in a hurry to "earn" more money.

There are still whole lotsa stories to write about... but guess i could not finish... sigh.... please, for goodness sake... can the drivers have a little bit more courtesy and try a little kindness? Stop throwing the "face" of singapore... I LOVE my Country... so could those ugly drivers dun mess it up?

*Disclaimer: I know there are good drivers still around... but i guess they are just as irritated as me for the above mentioned drivers! Not ALL drivers are like that... so i used words like "alot", "many"...

1st ICT Accomplished!

Saturday, February 14, 2009

I have so much to say about my 1st ICT, but yet i just wanna point out one thing that causes me great discomfort...

So the story begins where I was really excited to go back for my first in camp... although the food was not really fantastic, route march was tiring, almost drop dead for the ippt run and held appointments for the training exercises outfield... all was still fine except....

I came back from outfield exercise, didn't get a chance to sleep during the exercise and i've got to attend a stupid commanders debrief which i feel it should not even involve me! What's worse is that the content of the meeting was really !@#%#@$^#$%^@%... It made me felt that the full time high ranks officers does not really understand how we "civilians" who have a work outside feels. They came up with plans which requires longer in-camps for the NS commanders. Of course, the NS man might not be so well trained as during our active days as we lost touch of most things, but that does not gives them the reason to make us come back to ICT longer!

I've heard from my army mate that one of the guy came back from reservist and got fired by the boss even it's an "official" reason. Especially during this time where the economy is not doing very well, i guess all bosses need their staff to work real hard. Sigh, after 2 weeks of ICT, work is piling up and it seems endless. Also EXPO shift is next week... siong sia... but i thank God for the opportunity to help in the EXPO shift. =)

ICT

Monday, February 2, 2009

Today, the 2nd of Feb is my ICT (In-camp training) that will last for 2 weeks. I am excited to go because this round i am more prepared then the previous. It was due to my business that caused me to defer the last round. I have prepared more than enough things that i can almost start my army life in camp all over again. LoLx... i tot most guys will curse and swear at the name of ICT!!! !@#!@%@#^%@%^#*&^

But i did not complete my IPPT the last round, so i wondered if i can resolve the issue because the last round, the clerk says she will book for me as my window is closed! But until now, i have yet to receive any phone call from the beloved army... i tot they are suppose to be "swift and effective"? Mmm, i cannot deny if its being operational... but comes to administration... lalala....

I got a new handphone for the ICT that is so OUTDATED, WITHOUT CAMERA, SLOW SMS, NO GAMES, NO MUSIC OR FM, CANNOT EVEN SEND MASS SMS ALMOST GOOD FOR NOTHING! Due to infringement, i could not bring my cool "da ge da" nokia e90 in.... so got to let my communicator phone depreciate at home... sob.

There isn't any entertainment so to speak that i could bring in... i feel like i am going to the monastery to live in solitude. Oh God, please save me... how can i make my time there more fruitful and fun.... i wanna bring books in to read, but people will think i am "siao"...

Haix, better stop writing here and catch my rest before i enter the gates of hades... but thanks be to God as they shall not prevail before me. (Flaky!)

Traffic Police

Monday, November 24, 2008

If there is a word called "SUAY" in Christendom, this is what happened to me today. I got booked by a traffic police for not wearing seat belt. Sigh...

But i feel that there are so many drivers who is a hazard to other drivers like never signal when switching lanes, speeding, hogging two lanes when driving and so much more.... why me?! Why book me?! I only endanger my own life rite?! Sigh...

But still i admit i am wrong... especially i am the "P"rofessional plate driver.

Casting Pearls at Swine

Saturday, October 18, 2008

I felt like Jesus when he said about casting pearls at swine where its such a waste of time and effort to explain about the full context of the bible where the person:

1) Does not even believe the bible is entirely necessary.
2) Thinking that the Word of God will only be revealed to 'chosen' people.
3) Making the entire bible like a big mystery to be solve.
4) Reading the bible and contexts in parts.
5) Saying that it's God's will for a person to be good or bad.

If you have the above symptoms, please don't waste my time to put your point across. My God differs from you. So since it is different, please kindly refrain from sharing or want to me 'share' to you to prove your point as there will be no conclusion.

I believe:

1) God's entire Word is totally necessary and applicable whether old or new testament. His Word is complete truth and nothing shall be added or taken even to the slightest dot!
2) My interpretation might not be right, so it's yours. So stop bothering me!
3) There is no big 'hoo haa' mystery to be solved! Give me a break! Why did God want to give us the bible to confuse us?
4) Read the FULL Word of the bible and its counsel. You don't break it in parts to claim its the entire truth since its not really the ENTIRE Word. Stop contradicting yourself!
5) My God is only a GOOD God. If you think He is of any Bad, you can look for satan, where he seems to resemble your god more.

I am not against anyone whose points differs, so don't bother me with ur really DEEP theology since only you've got your own revelation. I'll see u in heaven. I still accept you as who u are and love u. World Peace okay?!

Disciples

Thursday, August 28, 2008

Just like Jesus having disciples who are of different personalities and characters... so are mine!!!

Some of the interesting facts about them!!! (Muahaha, told u guys i am going to post on my blog!)
*Slept in Mum's room until 12 years old
*Stalked a guy whom she like in secondary school
*Stop drinking from milk bottle only when at Primary 4
*Sang off "key" while on the stage with lotsa audience
*Using $$$ to "threaten" others! (This person is rich sia!)
*"Poo" in the pants in Primary 4
*Run down and scare a uncle who was riding on his bicycle!
*Eating porridge while in the toilet "baking cake"! (extra large font emphasis on this one!)

Please do not come my cell group trying to find who is the above mentioned specifically... cuz "surely" you think you are perfect!?

But yet, the disciples of Jesus made a difference in shaking and changing the nations of the earth, laying down their lives for the sake of the gospel... i believe so are mine....

Mercedes Benz Vito

Friday, May 23, 2008

I wanna buy a second hand van so that i could use it for transportation (as my cab bills are killing me) as well as being able to start some adhoc projects outside... therefore, why not buy a van while making some pocket money with it rite?! So if anyone out there need a van for transportation for your goods, let me know... i will try to charge cheap cheap okie?... hur hur *kaching* ($_$)...

I went a few places with my cousin trying to find the "perfect" van (er... second hand.. how perfect can it be rite?) that marks my first major purchase for my company... my cousin helped me to test out the vehicles as i am still a noob... and definitely do not wish to crash the van while test driving it, so i better allow the pro to do the job.

And finally set our eyes on a Mercedes Benz Vito 108CDI and then paid the deposit:

This is how it looks like at the back... with a rear split air-con:

As you can see the place where i purchased this van (let me promote for this company)... the salesperson, Sitoh, is actually a hokkien beng. He was really quite interesting chap especially in the way he promote the vehicle. He kept assuring us that the van is in tip-top condition. He is unlike those salesperson whom we met with... He very 讲义气 type where he kept assuring that he will not sell those vehicles with accident and say if he does, he will be an abomination... lolx...Of course we only purchase it after test driving it.

Anyway, for second hand vehicles, you won't know what is going to happen until further down the road where you drive the vehicle rite? So let's see what happens... that's the "thrill' of getting a second hand vehicle.

Miracle!

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

It's a miracle that i taught 3 bible studies on Monday Morning.
It's a miracle that i could wake up at 7.30am for the 1st bible study.
It's a miracle that power of God was there to heal my member in my 1st bible study.
It's a miracle that the 2nd bible study was short and sweet.
It's a miracle that the 3rd bible study was long yet powerful.
It's a miracle that i realised that i could teach so well for AFV.

It's really a miracle... ... and God is the miracle maker... ...

We Give You Praise

Tuesday, May 6, 2008

Today was a great day! I felt uplifted and encouraged! Although i am very tired after all the work that kept piling up and drowning me, today was one of the greatest sabbath day i had. It really replenishes my dried up soul from all the routine work.

I have watched "Ironman" and it was fantastic! Actually i was not keen to watch it as i saw the trailer isn't really fascinating, but then after the strong recommendation of Mr.Tan Keng Hoe, i went and watched it. The storyline was good, the cast was great and of course, it's only 6 bucks per tix on Monday with my UOB card! Muahaha!

After the movie, managed to spend some time with my "ou xiang", the great wise man Mr.Suraj, at Starbucks down in Orchard Road. Once again was enlightened by his revelation and i feel like Moses when he came down from the mountain where his countenance was glowing! He shared with me some things which really struck my heart. These verses in the bible describes exactly how i feel after my fellowship with him.

Proverbs 3:13-15
13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;
14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. NKJV

I really thank God for placing such and important man in my life. What i went through during this period of time is exactly in the song below in the latest album of delirious? latest album "Kingdom of Comfort"... ... maybe i will make a sermon out of it.

We Give You Praise
When the road is rough and steep
And it leads a heart to weep
There's an ocean of tears
That you've caught through the years
But we're not stopping here

On this long and winding street
Will you guide these weary feet
Every step that we take
With our hearts full of faith
And we're not stopping here
Together we are stronger
so put your hand in mine
We give you praise
We give you praise

And the king of all the earth
Has saved us from ourselves
We give you praise

Through the avenues of time
Here you meet me where I am
We walk with glory and pain
And you've broken the chains
So there's no stopping here

We sing glory
In the darkness there you shine
Let it shine let it shine let it shine
