Finally!!! I've bought the bible that i have been searching... the long awaited PERFECT one that i have longed for years. My old bible have already becoming "epistles" and it has fulfilled 8 years of long service (since year 2000 where our church still use the slogan "the future is ours"), so it is time for me to get a new one. I've been preaching with my old bible for so long and it is kind of unsightly to preach with a bible which is torn and tattered. So finally my perfect bible has arrived!!! It is the well-loved, favourite bible for all preachers!

It has fulfilled all of my criteria which is:
1) New King James Version
2) Thomas Nelson Bible
3) Ultraslim Bible
4) Big Letterings
5) Word of Christ in Red
6) Black Bond Leather
7) Light, Portable & Convenient!

Oh my oh my!!! I am so excited and can't wait to highlight, scribble and read my new bible!!! Heh, i might just want to get another one!!! I think God wouldn't blame me for coveting for another bible right?! Muahaha =)

Once a wise man by the name of Rev. Dr. AR Bernard said that: " We are servants and leadership is only a position we hold by serving." Soon after, another wise man by the name of Suraj said: "We can pull out the better of the person we serve." Not forgetting the great man of all times Rev. Dr. Kong Hee also preached on the sermon on servanthood about the GREATEST MAN of all times JESUS lived his life out as a servant proves it all... that is you got to SERVE!

To be a good servant, of course you must learn to give a good service! You do not "suddenly" become a good servant! You've got to learn it! So thank you Sister Karen Chua for giving us (FODs & ACC staff) the lessons of "At your service!" It's really a saving grace for me. Thank you so much!

Wanna lead?! Serve first! But of course you can serve without the heart of servanthood. Then the quote below is for you...

A Promise

I promise...

It has been my greatest privilege to be up close and personally with Rev. Dr. Kong Hee and once again, a standing ovation for the man of God! Today, it has been such a wonderful time with him along with a few other leaders, sharing our thoughts and hearing from pastor. I had much more fun in today's session compared to the previous few maybe because what he shared today was very much applicable to me and it could be that all of us are not as nervous as compared to the first few sessions.

What was shared was his concern for most of us in the room and the church. He will be preaching it "hot" on the pulpit real soon. It was an issue which was sensitive to me just that i did not have urgency to fulfill or maybe on the other hand, having too many concerns about it.

So, dearest pastor...
What you have shared has been my desire too, therefore...
I promise you that i will do it...

F.I.R. Breakthrough Service

Am i leading a Ladies Cell Group or what?! It's been so long that i have a breakthrough attendance for weekend service that hit over the 20 mark! Just a cute happening was that all the new friends that came are all girls! The ratio of male vs. female is 1:3!!! Not that i am against it, but just need some balance. Gabriel, you owe me 2 males okie! Faintz!

But of course some of the new friends went down for altar call, just that i heard that one of them was actually quite blur and did not know what the altar call was for and still went down... but who cares rite?! Just integrate her! So all my dear connect group leaders please help me out!!! Let's believe God that after the gals revival will come the guys revival!!! Cux now all pretty gals are in my CG then the guys out there will automatically come drooling over rite?! Hahaha... (Gosh, how can i say that?! I am a CGL leh... Must "act" holy... )

For the whole service, the most beautiful thing which really inspires me is the testimony which F.I.R shared. It's really wonderful to know that great artistes like them could testify of Jesus out loud boldly! Just imagine, the impact which they bring to the society for Jesus, not forgetting the hectic schedule of their career but still living out fervent personal outreaches, attend discipleship trainings, prayer meetings, cell groups and multiple services!

They found the answer to their call, their love and their life. The answer could be found in no one else but Jesus. So do you need an answer in life? Check Him out!
